Trouble "getting params" Using bidirectional telemetry with a Microhard 2.4GHz pico pair

Mission planner is connecting to the pixhawk and getting GPS/power telemetry, but I cannot update parameters or even see existing parameters on the controller. I have been changing baud rates, ttl-serial wire harness pin outs, and wireless settings between the two 2.4GHz radios, but I haven’t been able to get past this point.

Wondering if anyone has come across something similar with 2.4GHz telemetry or Microhard systems before and knows of an obvious fix.
