Tricopter random heading AUTO and GUIDED Mode

Hello everybody,

Having a issue with my pixhawk clone (AUAX-X2) with ArduCopter 3.2.1 on a tricopter:

-the copter is pinned quite well during position hold

  • during GUIDED mode the copter should look at me, but it DOESN’T (sub-modes tried out e.g. circle leash, all the same)

strange enough, that controller was used in a quad and there did work perfect.

Can anyone help me out? Unfortunately my logfiles are too big for upload, lets how I can sort that out.

Please provide tlogs and/or dataflash logs to help troubleshoot your issue.


attached please find a log from a “cyrcle” waypoint mission including a “point of interest” in the middle.
Unfortunately the heading again was quite random, but the flight itself was perfect, even auto landing where supposed.

Update on this issue:

Tried out ArduCopter 3.3… Same behavior.

Can anyone help me out?
