Transition issue

hi ,
my set up is : pixhawk 4
holybro esc 4 in 1 trkko 45 a
atomrc dolphin
3 motors avenger 2806.5 1300 KV
batt 1550 mah 6 s
arduplane V 4.3.5

In qhover , everything is ok , i’m on 15 amps . when i go to transition , the airplane wait normaly for the transition speed and after that the transition ends : the front motors go to max power ( 50 amps total) , the next flight mode is fwba and … the motors stop ! ( 1200 ). if i don’t go back to qhover , i crash .

My questions :

  1. is it possible that an adupilot parameter is wrong ?
  2. it is possible that my esc goes in “tilt” , but it is strange because when i come back to qhover everything is normal … anyway is there a method to limit the motors power after the transition ? the servo 2 and 4 go to the max . i tried to change the max power and max throttle parameters without any result . ialso tried to limit the outpout servo to 1750 without any result.
    Thanks for the advices.

Post a log. It is hard to tell based on the description.

hi,

nobody can help ?
it seems that the plane disarms when the transition is done
Somebody can confirms ?
thanks

Hello. if the plane disarmed, there should be “disarmed” message on the log. but there is not.

so, I guess some parameter on FBWA is wrong on your plane.

or you didn’t raise your throttle stick while transition.

did you solve your problem?

hi,
thanks for your answer .
you are right, looking at the log, it 's not disarmed.
i don’t think it’s a FBWA problem because i have tried different combinaisons :
qloiter - FBWA
qloiter - stab
qloiter - manual
qhover- FWBA
qhover - stab… always the same result : after transition no power !

i changed the esc : same result ( 45 amps to 65 amps. )
now i changed the fail transition parameter .
this week i can’t fly because the grass is too high (they are making hay)

may be i would try a 4S battery to get a lower power ( watts) ?

above is quote from your saying.

do you mean if you change to FBWA from qhover to FBWA, the VTOL flied well?

I can’t understand why “good QHover” means FBWA parameters are okay.

maybe something about fixed wing parameter messed up. I call it “FBWA parameter”. my mistake. it is “fixed wing parameter”

no, i tried different combinaison :
qloiter to fbwa
another flight : qloiter to stab
another flight : qhover to fbwa …

yes but which parameter … that’s the question !

No, I didn’t asked whether if you tried different combination…

I just wonder which one is worked, or not. you didn’t specify it on your article

yes but which parameter … that’s the question !

← If so, please specify it on your first article.

I just left my opinion that something in the parameter could be wrong.

and for this kind of question you should attach the log.

I always attach logs on my question.
