For the life of me, I can’t remember where on the internet I saw this, but I once saw a demonstration of Mission Planner where a DEM/DTM was overlayed as an opaque height coloured map with the standard pre-cached satellite data. For situation awareness in flight planning as well as guided flying, this is incredibly useful.
Does anyone know how to enable this?
CTRL+W And check Elevation or Terrain, One is the actual elevation, other is the relative elevation to current vehicle altitude.
A parallel question to the one raised above.
In some version of Mission Planner I discovered an overlap of areas with no RF coverage due to flight altitude and terrain characteristics.
Can anyone inform me how to access this functionality?
