APM Planner 2.0 does not support TERRAIN_DATA and TERRAIN_REQUEST messages needed for terrain following.
This is a great feature and I want to ask what are the plans for its implementation in APM Planner.

I’d like to add support for terrain data. It’s on the list of features.
We don have the elevation widget for when planning a mission. It also will verify a flight plan against the same terrain data used for the terrain following. You just have to manually adjust mission waypoints to make sure they are above the data.
I just updated to .18-rc2 and I don’t see a terrain widget… Secret keystroke, maybe?
