Terrain follow in RTL mode only possible?

I’d like to have terrain follow only used when performing RTL. I typically fly in cruise mode and manage altitude myself for best efficiency. I’d like to have terrain following activated only when in RTL mode as a safety in the event of GCS failsafe.

Is it possible to only have terrain follow for RTL only? If not, I think it would be a nice feature to maybe add options for the TERRAIN_FOLLOW feature so that you can select which flight modes it applies to.

Terrain disable switch in CRUISE and FBWB modes is now in master (“latest”) firmware builds…RCx_OPTION = 86…a high on the switch disables terrain following if its otherwise enabled and active
