Telemetry from Radio (TX16S) to Ground Station

Hi, I am familiar with the wikis and blog about sending airplane FC telemetry to a ground station, in fact, I have and use the SiK-type telemetry radios in one of my planes.
I’m probably missing an obvious realm, but is there a tried and true way of sending the same telemetry directly from the radio to the ground station, via Bluetooth or WiFi? After setting up the Yaapu telemetry script with my ELRS module, it seems that all that sensor data is already there, but how does one transmit it to the GCS? Seems like this would be much more reliable and cheaper that having to install a telemetry radio in each model.

The RF Design TXMOD does that, but obviously that means using an RFD900X or UX on the aircraft too - so that’s a big change if you are already using ELRS.

There is a new series of modules from Radiomaster that might be just what you are after, I saw it on Mads Tech

I have the Radiomaster Ranger ELRS module, which has WiFI and Bluetooth, but I thought those are just for FW updates.
