I bought this rertractable landing gear from tarot https://www.tarot-rc.com/tarot-small-retractable-landing-gear-retractor-tl65b43-p2562732.html
So i set all my spare channels to rc7 in to see if I can extend and retract via my radio but nothing happens.
Drone is powered with battery and servo leads are plugged in directly to the FS
Is the servo out rail powered by a 5V source?
The FC does not power the servo outputs.
Which flight controller is this?
Update to ArduCopter 4.4.1. Why are you using 4.0?

Why are you setting all your channels to rc7 ?
Makes no sense as this would create conflicting signals.
I will revert back and they are not used for anything at the moment
Used or not, fact is you can’t switch all your channels at once. So that means some channels may be switched whilst others are not = conflicting signals.
You have not answered my questions
let me try and connect the landing gear to a external power source first and see if that does anything
