Tailsitter dual motor elevons not working..!..

Hello ,
I am a new bee in the ardupilot world and interested in building uo my tailsitter dual motor non-vectored flying wing.

I am using mini pix v 1.1
Trying to get working on foam board model as test.
I have tested the tailsitter but was not stable at all. The elevons were not working eventhogh i set them as per the guidelines.

Current setup:

Q_ enabled = 1

Q_FRAME_CLASS = 10, tailsitter

Q_FRAME_TYPE = 1 , X

Q_TAILSIT_INPUT= 0, MultiCopterInput.

and tried also to ;

Q_TAILSIT_INPUT= 1, FixedWingInput.

(But nothing has changed.)

Servo1_function= 78 elevon right
Servo1_max =1900
Servo1_min =1100
Servo1_reversed =0
Servo1_Trim =1500

Servo for the right elevon is Connected to channel 1 in the flight controller

Servo2_function= 77 elevon right
Servo1_max =1900
Servo1_min =1100
Servo1_reversed =1
Servo1_Trim =1500

Servo for the left elevon is Connected to channel 2 in the flight controller

Servo3_function= 0
Servo4_function= 0

Servo5_function= 74 Throttle right
Servo1_max =1900
Servo1_min =1100
Servo1_reversed =0
Servo1_Trim =1500

Right motor is Connected to channel 5 in the flight controller

Servo6_function= 73 Throttle left
Servo1_max =1900
Servo1_min =1100
Servo1_reversed =0
Servo1_Trim =1500

left motor is Connected to channel 6 in the flight controller

FLTMODE_CH =8

FLTMODE1 =18, QHOVER(VTOL)
FLTMODE2 =17, QSTABILIZE(VTOL)
FLTMODE3 =19, QLOITER(VTOL)
FLTMODE4 =5 , FBWA
FLTMODE8 =0 , MANUAL

ACCEL CALIBRATION DONE SUCCESSFUL

COMPASS CALIBRATION SUCCESSFUL

RADIO CALIBRATION COMPLETED. But could not tick on elevon to enable it. It was dim… can not be selected.

Flight modes done properly and switching as planned.

Motors thrust work properly.

The issue is,

What ever mode i select, elevens do not work at all. After dis-arming everything works ok but elevons.

Please i need your help

Looking forward for your kind support please

Fares

Hi Fares,

Can you post your .param file so we can see all the parameters? For example, your Q_TAILSIT_MOTMX setting is not shown. It would be easier and cleaner to post the .param file of the setup.

Cheers and welcome to the APM VTOL forum! :grinning:
