T Log Questions

Hi,

Just looking for some clarification around tlogs. Ive done some flying of late without connecting to Mission Planner whilst at the field. Ive come home to revisit my new flying skills!, connected MP & downloaded the log file. I noticed there were no tlog files. (only ones that are created during the connection process)

So is it safe to say that if you want tlog files where you can view graphically where you have flown, you must have MP connected during flight?

Is there a way to create or convert a log file to a tlog file?

Or is the workaround to create a gpx file that needs to be loaded into google maps?

Thanks in advance

“t” stands for telemetry, so if you never hooked up, nothing was recorded.

You are downloading dataflash logs, which are recorded on the APM or Pixhawk. If you look under the “dataflash logs” tab in MPs flight data window, you’ll see “create kml”

Thanks Bill
