I am currently designing a VTOL plane and wanted to use the APM flight controller to stabilize the aircraft in vertical lift off and then as I transition to horizontal flight ( by rotating props and motors) I want the APM to stop controlling the aircraft attitude and control to then be with conventional servo’s on the usual control surfaces. Any ideas on how to do this would be appreciated.
