Switched to ELRS Radio Receiver. No movement in Arduplane

Last night I tried to switch my plane to an ELRS system. I got the radio and receiver bound. But I’m not seeing any pwm movement in the “Radio Calibration” panel in Arduplane.

Hardware:
Speedybee f405 wing - using UART1 for ELRS
RadioMaster Pocket ELRS
RadioMaster RP1

Parameters:

  • SERIAL1_PROTOCOL = 23 (RCIN)
  • SERIAL1_BAUD = 115 (amongst others)
  • SERIAL1_OPTIONS = 0 (and bit 9 for CRSF)
  • RSSI_TYPE = 3 (ReceiverProtocol)
  • RC_OPTIONS bit 13 set for baud rate 420k

From what I can tell from the autopilot documentation no alternate configurations are needed, serial1 should have DMA. I’m sure the problem is something stupid. Does anybody have any ideas?

Most often, folks mess up the RX/TX connections. Try swapping them.

I will double-check the wiring and my soldering. But right now it’s setup TX to RX.

You sure the receiver is bound?

Tx says it is bound and I’m getting a solid green light on the rx.

If that is the only configured RC interface, it should be working. Check that wiring again. We see it all the time…

Bad solder connection :expressionless:
