switch the flight mod in air

I am using UAV Talon, I want to take off in FBWA mode and switch to auto mode while in the air. To test the operability of this, I lift the throttle up and put it in auto mode in fbwa mode while on the ground, but the engines stop when the plane goes into auto mode. What could be the reason?

This is an important safety feature that prevents the engines from starting unintentionally on the ground in autothrottle modes if, for example, an RTL occurs on the ground or you switch to AUTO.
Don’t worry, it works perfectly in flight.
