My name is Marnus and I am a electronic student in South Africa. I have an experienced history with cnc automation and electronics but I have encountered a new problem.
My dad is a farmer and he is losing a bunch of money due to theft at night of crops. I had an idea of building an autonomous drone with a bright mounted flashlight to patrol at random times at night to scare of any thief that would try to steal. I would also want an auto charging station where the drone would charge after a flight. Would this be possible ? I have a strong background in CAD and have 3D printers and cnc machines to my disposal. Would the electronic part be possible ? ANY help would be appreciated!!!
I bet a bunch of cameras and remotely activated lights would be a cheaper solution…
