Support for setup like delftAcopter

Hello guys

I am not related to this project and that is why I am wondering/asking if this can be achieved with ArduPilot.

My idea is to have the main rotor run by a gasoline engine (w/o pitch … or would this be required ?) to provide the hovering/lifting force and the side rotor run by electric motors which would do the control.

Or generally is there support for a tail sitter dual/quad motor setup for control and main rotor for lifting ?

green/red = quad plane/copter
blue = provides variable thrust for VTOL and horiz. flight

Ok … modeling is done:

Looks like a table with some wings and lot of propulsion.

Starting to piece it together !
