I was reading about the Quanergy S3 here, seems like an awesome LIDAR solution, what are your thoughts? Will it be easy to get working in Arducopter?

As far as I know that’s not for sale yet and they already missed their target last year. It’s impossible to know how easy it can be integrated into ArduPilot without any information on connections and supported protocols.
Understandable, would you happen to know anything about Scanse Sweep? I think it would be a good option for me if it had obstacle avoidance support the way that the Lightware SF40 does
From what I heard (so take it with a grain of salt) they also failed to meet their deadline. As you can see in the website it is still in pre-order state. I’m sure it can be supported, but as far as I know nobody in the dev team has or ordered one.
