Hi, I’m working on winch system. Looking for more options for smooth operations of winch.
Previously what i faced is human intervention led to crash of my vehicle. As of my first version of winch was semi-automatic and it were requiring manual inputs for wire reel in and wire out, slack adjustment, tension adjustment, etc.
Now, I’m looking for options by which i can automate my operations. I’m looking for load cell but unable to acquire more data on this.

In my case, application is providing continuous power to drone from ground. Considering this, i’m looking for some device or sensors which will help to provide specific data such as tension on wire by which i can reel in and reel out wire with respect to the ascending and descending of drone.
Loadcell was one option which can be taken in consideration but considering my application i’m finding it difficult to fulfill the purpose.

You’re looking for a power tether, not a winch. I can’t offer much help here, but good luck because it sounds very interesting.
how did you interfaced it with pixhawk cube sir ?
Serial (telem) port. Can’t remember which one, but it doesn’t really matter. Power was provided from an additional BEC, so just needed ground/TX/RX.
