Is there a way of permanently stopping the New firmware available pop up?

Unselect show me again and click ok
Prior to posting I had unselected the show me again box and clicked ok. If I disconnect and then reconnect to the Pixhawk without closing mission planner the pop up does not show. If I close mission planner and then open it again the pop up shows again once connected to the Pixhawk.
