I took a break from building and tuning quad-copters and wrote some Python scripts that report on data from .BIN files.
I’ve written three so far and plan on writing more.
I made extensive use of AI to help me wade through requirements. I learned that to read a .BIN file you need packages such as pymavlink that require slightly older versions of Python, and in my case, Ubuntu.
I plan on writing more soon - but I’d welcome any questions or feedback on what I’m doing so far. It’s just entertainment for me at this point - I know there are many other ways to get this information. But so far it’s been a healthy exercise in understanding this part of ArduPilot.
I’ve enabled my programs on my website so they can be accessed there. Anyone interested can find them at: Flight-Tools | Copter Cam Tech
