Hey all I am interested in building a USV using a 4S Li-ion and a renogy 175w solar panel, the solar panels texhnical details are:
Maximum Power at STC*: 175 w
Opitmum Operating Voltage: 19.5V
Optimum Operating Current: 8.98A
Open-Circuit voltage (Voc): 23.9V
Short-Circuit Current (Isc): 9.50A
I have a few questions.

What would be the easiest way to accomplish this, is there an Mppt controller that can charge a 4S Li-ion 16.8v battery?

I want the solar panel to provide the power for my load, whilst charging the battery, im slightly confused how this works, do all periphals plugin into the load output of the mppt controller, and then the mppt switches from solar input to battery input as power source at night time, or do all periphals wire straight to the battery, and the battery is under constant discharge and temporary charge during day hours?
