Happy Thanksgiving Everyone,
I’m interested in doing some simple robotics experiments while navigating without GPS. I would like to use an IMU to navigate 10-20 meters with multiple turns by dead reckoning. The SkyViper Journey appears to have an onboard IMU with accelerometer, barometer, and gyro, but I haven’t read anything about it being used for navigation. Does anyone know if this has been done? If it hasn’t, is it possible without hacking the board? Is there another simple drone that would be a better option for this type of experiment?
