Hey everyone,
I’m wondering if I can get around having to buy the SIYI Ground Unit Output Converter and instead use a simple (and inexpensive) ethernet to HDMI adaptor? I’m guessing that’d be wishful thinking, but thought I’d at least ask.
Thnx!

No I am sorry unless you use an android box which is just as expensive it wont work. Also there is a thread on here started for the hm30 already .
I would not be so sure, as you can also use VLC in rtsp to view the HM30 stream, so that a box that can convert rtsp stream on Ethernet to HDMI, might work.
You gotta buy the box…uness your rasberry pie skills are up to sniff.
