Is it possible to use the short antenna of the right 915mhz telemetry in the Siyi air module instead of the large antenna? I understand that the range will be reduced, maybe by half? Reaching 4km would be enough for me, but beyond that, can there be any problem with the Siyi module? Can it be damaged? I don’t have much physical space for the large antenna on my plane.
Never mix antenna’s made for different frequency bands. You can fry the RF stage of the transmitter.
