Should I start developing with ROS(1) and MAVROS

Hi, I have just completed a nice Rover project with a Lidar. I was thinking about moving my Rover
project to ROS(1), since ROS2 does not appear to be completed at this time. Is ROS(1) w/MAVROS stable w/Python or should I wait awhile. Thanks!

Mavros 1 is very stable, and mavros 2 is under heavy development.
