Short circuit/Fuses on a Mateksys H743-SLIM V3

Hey all,

Does anyone know where the fuses might be on the Mateksys H743-SLIM V3? Has anyone dealt with shorting the analog video system before?

I recently had an oopsy with my quadcopter build. While working on it, and the board was powered from the battery, I accidentally set down the loose video transmitter (TS5823 pro) on top of the flight controller (Mateksys H743-SLIM V3). Something shorted out – the transmitter went dark and there was some smoke. Now, the transmitter works, but the contacts for it (Vsw) and the FPV (Vbt) camera are hardly outputting anything. Vbat contacts are working elsewhere on the board, and the board is functioning otherwise. It seems a fuse of some sort has been blown.

Thanks,
Brick

A circuit trace is more likely. Or a component. I would be surprised if there was a fuse anywhere.

No fuse on those boards by design. But with enough current, anything can be a fuse.

you have probably blown the transistor that switches the Vsw pad.

Thanks for the replies, y’all. Looks like unless I get in there deep I’m not gonna figure out a solution. Was able to get vBat from another part of the board that was not being used.
