Settings for multi-vehicle setup with RFD radios

Hey Ardupilot Community,
I am in a similar situation, and facing issue in spawning multiple vehicles in Mission Planner Software, and getting no heartbeat.

I have configured a network of 4 nodes, one set as Master and 3 are Slaves,
The Green Status LEDs on all the nodes are solid, and red lights are blinking, i have verified the status using RXI9 command, and all the three nodes are connected with master node.
I have set “SYSID_THISMAV” aswell, but still unable to get heartbeat and parameters in Mission Planner.
I am facing issue with spawning UAVs in Mission Planner, i have a couple of questions to ask,

  1. Do i need to setup one node as a GCS, as i am currently using Master node with my laptop as a GCS node to connect with Drones.
I am attaching screenshots for kind consideration.
    Thanks in advance

This may not be related, but I would have a ground wire from the modem to serial port along with those two data wires.

Did the master/GCS ever communicate with any of the node modems before you changed them over to multi-point?

All I can think of is there’s a problem with the S24 and S25 values - revisit the manual and page 12 - sorry if you’ve been over it a thousand times :frowning:

Thanks @xfacta for responding to my query,

Regarding your concern on connection, the telemetry was working fine in point to point network with the same wire.

It might have been on the edge.

Do what @xfacta said. Proper ground is important and often overlooked by beginers
