Sequencing drone swarm

Is there any options in Mission Planner or QGC to wait until all drones are in position before proceeding to the next step in the mission? Or waiting until you press continue on the ground station?
I see UgCS has this ability (but it is licensed).
I’m hoping to avoid custom programming for the GCS if possible. Anyone have any experience to offer sequencing a swarm?

If you upgrade to ArduCopter 4.2.0 you will have LUA scripting that can help you do that and much more.

I’ve now got 4.1.5 at the moment (Pixhawk 2.4.8). This does not have the feature?
Are you recommending I step up to the beta version?

It does do have lua Support. But ist not as extensive as the lua support in 4.2.0-rc4.
Expecialy when it commes to swarming.

And 4.2.0-rc4 is not beta software. It is a release candidate.
