SDCard over CAN?

Does AP_Periph support SDCard access over a DroneCAN network?

If not is it within the intention of AP_Periph to consider the idea of researching how to implement this?

The name AP_Periph looks like it maybe A[rdu]P[ilot]_Periph[eral] and so maintained under the Ardupilot workgroup rather than DroneCAN? If the latter I’ll get myself over to their forum!

Is the current mission (and any data relating to a safe return to home) stored on the flight controller’s RAM, or the SD card?

SDCards have a limited number of read/writes and can suffer failures. If this happened mid mission what would be the effect on a robot mid mission? Generically rather than specific to Rover/Copter/Boat…
