RFD900x with mRo 915MHz V2 - compatible?

Hi everyone,

I’m trying to pair an RFD900x with an mRo SiK radio. Looked over the ardupilot documentation, messed with Mission Planner, RFD900 tools, and AT commands over PuTTY with no success. Both firmware versions are up to date - mRo says “SiK 2.2 on HM-TRP”, RFD says “RFD SiK 2.60 on RFD900xR1.1”.

Are these radios compatible or have I missed something in the EEPROM parameters?

The rfd900 use a derivative of the SIK firmware but its not compatible as far as i know.

first time I have seen that. I have never heard of anyone mixing telemetry radios.

Back in the days of the very early RFD900 firmware versions it was possible to mix them with regular 900MHz 3DR radios.

But this is long gone.
