RF900 + Dynamic Transmit Power

Hello,

I am trying to set up my RF900+ radios to dynamically adjust power based on RSSI. The linked software manual says it can be controlled by setting R0 and R1. However, when I query the local or remote radios with ATI5 and RTI5 I don’t see either parameter. Furthermore when I try to set these paramaters with RTR0=175 and RTR1=20 I get errors.

I am running 1.9 firmware.

Any help or insight is appreciated.

I last tried this about a year ago and came to the conclusion these don’t actually support dynamic transmit power.

well that sucks. It’s a really nice capability. Great for the battery and better for my brain!
