Recommended hardware requirements for Windows system

Hello,

I’ve been tasked with purchasing some hardware to run Mission Planner. I have not used Mission Planner. The user will be running the windows version of the software on a laptop. I’ve looked on the Mission Planner wiki site but was unable to find answers to the following questions.

Does Mission Planner take advantage of multi core cpus? (Would it run smoother on a quad core processor?)

Are there any recommended graphic cards for Mission Planner? Does it have fewer problems or run smoother under a specific graphics card platform?

Is there any performance increase for Mission Planner running on systems with more than 8GB of ram?

multicore, yes.
ram, its compiled as a 32 bit app. so 2gb for mp is enough (4gb total for windows etc)
gpu, so long as it supports opengl.
