Read out DataFlash logs on Mission Planner 1.3.81 / ArduPlane 4.5.1

Hi,

I am new to Mission Planner and ArduPlane but I was able to set it up in a fixed wing and do first flights without any major tuning. Very nice!

I wanted to see the logs now but I am unable to readout.

I select: Data > DataFlash logs > Download DataFlash log via Mavlink > Download all logs.
I get this dialog box:

telling me to disarm the drone. I try to disarm using Action Disarm/Arm, but here I get a prompt telling me “Command rejected by MAV”.

I try download of logs nevertheless and here’s a screenshot of the error message I get then:

Please note that the directory C:\Users\mich1\ does not exist. I don’t know how it got there.

What did I miss here? Any help is appreciated!

Update: I guess I found a way to access the bin files:
Config > MavFtp

Can you confirm this is the intended way?

I suppose you have figured out that’s not the way.

Set the log directory to a place you know. Config>Planner
