RAW (.arw) images not georeferencing

Hi

I’ve flown a dual Sony nex camera system and collected two sets of images over a project area: jpg and arw.

The jpg images georef by the CAM offset normally, but the arw images don’t get recognised by MP. In the attd screen shot you can see Images read: 0.

I have tried changing the file extension to .jpg, and it then read the images, but wouldn’t geotag them!

Also, I have tried batch converting with the Sony Image Data Converter, but it increases a 16mb RAW image to 60mb! Then I tried the UFRaw and GIMP converters as suggested by Pix4d, but couldn’t get them to work either.

So, going around in circles here and would appreciate any advice, thanks.

Geo-referencing is broken in the current version of MP.

mp will only tag .tif, and .jpg files.

Thanks.
I’m using MP1.3.30.

I transformed the images from RAW into JPG, and they were geotagged.

I tried the same with the (massive) TIF files, but they didn’t geotag.

My understanding for NIR analysis is that the TIF files carry more info over from the RAW files, so I would like to be able to use them if possible.

Is Geotag broken in 1.3.30 for tif? Or am I doing something else wrong?
