Okay, on radio calibration nothing is detected on YAW, I’ve attached a video on the controller but the option is completely missing from the inputs.
Any suggestions?
I’ve also checked other modes and not a single one has RUD on it.

Delete that model in the radio and start from scratch. AETR should be there by default. I’m not sure how it went missing but that’s a real pain. Nice part about ELRS is that you don’t have to re-bind. As long as you have everything set in your radio it should just connected again when you identify the model as ELRS/CRSF.
Well that’s annoying, completely deleted/reset it and still no RUD.
I’m thinking of trying to use a SD card to reset the entire configuration, if not I can just return it and maybe get a different model like a Zorro.
Something is messed up.
Don’t use a wizard or anything like that, just create a new model. Also go into the settings of your radio and make sure you see the same info:
I’ve used both the pocket and the zorro. I like the pocket more. As far as firmware goes, they are both the same.
Okay, apologies for the delayed response I got into contact with radio master official support and they fixed it.
I’ll attach how they done it for personal knowledge.
As you can see from the picture, you have two problems, because the RUD stick name has been changed to “—”, so you may be misled.
Press the SYS key, navigate to the Hardware page, and change the name of the input source to three Spaces “” instead of “—”. You will find that the joystick name has changed back to the default.
Note the three Spaces “”, indicating Default name.
Finally, in the Rud entry on the Inputs page, change the Source to Rud instead of CH4. Then select Rud in the Source of CH4 on the Mixes page.
Kind regards,
Radiomaster support team
I also have one final issue, the plane is up and running but my rear tail still isn’t moving to the sticks but is getting recognised on radiomaster from the controller so I believe it’s something in my Params.
I’ve attached a photo of the channel/inputs, do I need to change anything?
Thanks.
What flight mode are you in? You say it’s not moving with the sticks but is it moving to make stabilization corrections? Put the plane in FBWA and move it nose up and down. Watch the elevator output and see that it’s moving. If the output is moving then check for a wire or power problem.
Are the ailerons moving okay?
You can disable channel 3&4, or put something else there. You aren’t using throttle or rudder output for anything on a T1.
And just because I feel we’re jumping around a bit I’m going to put this out there now. Make sure you check these, and do these two steps in this order:
Put the plane in FBWA and move the plane around. Make sure all the controls move properly for to correct the plane back to level. (No radio inputs) Reverse the servo outputs to make corrections.
Put the plane in manual mode and move the sticks. Make sure the controls move in the right direction. (Don’t move the plane) Reverse the radio output (radiomaster) or radio input (Arduplane) to make corrections.
I want to stress the fact that:
MOVING THE PLANE around in FBWA, the surfaces have to move to return the plane to level flight.
MOVING THE STICKS in FBWA or MANUAL, the surfaces will move the plane away from level flight.
