Quadplane design setup - request for advice

Its a vtol plane with no control surfaces…(rudder,elevators,ailerons). I have been reading a bit about quadplanes - http://ardupilot.org/plane/docs/quadplane-overview.html.
I think the design above is closely related to tilt rotors- http://ardupilot.org/plane/docs/guide-tilt-rotor.html.

The idea of the design above is to use the rotors to replace the control surfaces while in fix-wing/forward flight mode. So you have you’re pitch, roll, yaw on q-stabilise/q-hover then when it transition to forward flight the yaw and roll control would swap- so copter roll would control yaw and copter yaw would control roll on forward flight mode
I have very limited knowledge about planes, I would like to see if this design could work? Thanks in advance
