I’m currently building a quadplane and I’m interested in integrating the Ark Optiflow sensor into my platform.
Has anyone here used this sensor in a VTOL configuration?
I’ve encountered some confusion regarding the EKF source switching between Optiflow (OF) and GPS on the ground. When in OF mode, switching the EKF source triggers a switch to DCM active for the AHRS . I’d appreciate any insights into why this happens.
Additionally, if I’m flying in DCM within plane mode, how can I transition to OF for landing without the AHRS switching to DCM again in Q (copter) modes?
