QLAND with signal loss

Hello I would like to know what would happen if for emergency reasons I have to land with my VTOL in some place where approaching the ground my RC and GCS signal are going to be lost, for example if there is a building or a mountain between me and the drone. Currently the FS_LNG activates after 5 segs and it has configured RTL, which is the wanted behaviour almost all the time, except in an emergency situation. WHat would the drone do when coming down? Change to RTL (potentially crashing the obstacle) or will it finish the landing?

Depending on your failsafe setup it can keep landing as long as you are using “Land” mode.

RTL shouldn’t crash into anything (except overhead obstacles, that are rather rare) as long as altitudes are correctly configured for the mission.
