QGroundControl (Mac) connection to Crossfire

Hi,

I have a simple (I hope) question regarding connecting to a crossfire transmitter. I am able to connect via bluetooth but I don’t see any connection settings in the setup that lead me to believe I can connect via a usb cable to the micro-usb port on the crossfire transmitter.

What am I missing?

The program is not showing the /dev/cu device that I believe should be in the list of devices. The cu device is on the macbook
