Qgc saying it can't recognize my board anymore even after a total reset of the firmware

I started having some weird problems with my Pixhawk 2.4.8 and decided to reflash the firmware onto it. It works although now I keep getting the error from qgc and mission planner that it can’t recognize my board. I’ve tried multiple times flashing the rover software then quad back onto it and get the same thing. Is there a way to do a hard reset and fix this?

The main light also no longer flashes and it doesn’t receive my receivers signals, but everything else looks normal.

Do you flash it as Pixhawk1 - use that board type.
The 2.4.8’s can be unreliable so it’s possible that hardware faults have developed.

I do flash it as pixhawk 1.

IMO An alternative to these Pixhawk 2.4.8 boards should be chosen. For a few $$ more I would use a Matek H743-Wing board for applications that suit the size of the old Pixhawk form factor.

Will that be able to control 6 servos as well?

It has 12/13 outputs in 4 timer groups. Motors in a common group(s) and servos in a common group(s). So it depends on your use case.

Outputs

Here you could use 7-12 for servos leaving 1-6 for motors.
