PWM to PPM adaptor Mux Wire, What's it for

Hi all

Cant find the answer online in the Wiki

With the PWM to PPM converter supplied with many Paxhawk Controllers, the output side has 4 wires 3 going to one Dupont plug and consisting of Ground, 5v and PPM and the 4th wire goes to a Dupont plug and is labelled MUX

Whats the MUX one for as it all appears to work fine without it being connected.

None of mine has a mux wire, I just have PPM, 5v and GND wires… so I presume it’s optional. :slight_smile:
