PWM and Dhot at the same time

Greetings.

My intended build will be an x8.

My Durandal FC has 5 FMU and 8 IO PWM outputs.

I believe that blheli passthrough will be available in release 4.5 end of the year so in the mean time.

Can I run 4 motors on the FMU and 4 motors from the IO pwm outputs at the same time without any adverse effects?
