I have Chan7 set up as RTL
Is it possible to configure channel 5 to be ignored while channel7 is high?
Basically I want the craft to stay in RTL until I actually turn Chan7 low?

What transmitter are you using?
I know this is possible on a Taranis by using a “Special Function” set up as shown below:

I’m using L2 in my case, which is a logical switch, as I’ve got a more complicated failsafe configuration but you could easily set this to SF(Up) or whatever you might want to use. As you can see you can set more that one function to react to the same event. This is helpful as I use this to set the flight mode to RTL, lower the landing gear and switch the nav lights on in case things don’t go well.
It took me a little while to work out the OpenTX stuff but it’s worth the effort!

p.s. Oh sorry, I missed that you’re talking about different channels. I’d set the switches up on the same channel then you can do what I’ve mentioned above. If, of course, you’re using a Taranis!
