Possible bug in APM Planner or just me?

I am having various logging issues with my IRIS, this one seems to be an issue with APM Planner for Mac.

Am I doing this right? Should Win MP and Mac APM Planner both be able to open .bin logs?

Troubleshooting info:

  1. I tried two different log.bin files ( attached ) from the SDCard directly.
  2. Windows Mission Planner has no problem with them.
  3. However APM Planner for Mac displays gibberish on both of them.

SDcard:/APM/LOGS/1.bin and 2.bin are attached below.
IRIS Stock with no camera
Mac OSX 10.8.5
APM Planner 2.0.7 for Mac
Mission Planner 1.2.98 for Windows 7 running in a parallels ver 9 VM
SD Card Kingston 4GB micro SDHC that came with the IRIS.

APM Planner 2.0 only supports downloaded dataflash logs at the moment. You can download them in the Terminal View.

Actually I’m not trying to download them, I copied them off of the SDcard to my hard drive.
The issue is that MP can read the file, but APM P 2.0 cannot, it just displays gibberish.
Is APM P 2.0 not capable of reading the .bin files? Or is something broken?

Never heard of such a thing. I can load them, it just displaying gibberish though.

The .bin file format is not currently supported, its coming soon.
