Possible a timing problem in special FC and ESC combo?

Have here 3 CC3D Minis and 2 HK ESCs. ESCs are calibrated with the TX, but arming behavior is inconsistent. Sometimes arming works, sometimes not. Changing the ESC to another brand and all is fine. So I suspect a timing problem.
Checked all FCs with the 2 ESCs. Same in all combinations.

Anyone here can give an explanation?

Did you set the https://ardupilot.org/copter/docs/parameters.html#mot-pwm-min parameter?
What happens when you raise that a bit?

Changing the type of ESC solved it for me, but my question is, do such things like ‘timing issues when arming’ exist or am I just seeings spooks or are some combinations not working?

All combinations are supposed to work. No timing issues are known.

If you found something that does not work, report it so that it gets fixed.
