POI Flags on Flight Data Screen

Hi Michael O,
I’m using the beta 1.3.1.2 build 1.1.5232.40175. When zoomed out on the Flight Data screen I get a ton of what I will call POI or Points of Interest flags. Frankly, they are annoying. Is there a way to disable them? Or?

these are now limited to 100km around your current map center location.

Hello,
I don’t mean to be argumentative but of what use are these POIs? Maybe I am missing something? For me, they are areas I would not want to fly over because of potential for personal or property damage. Again, maybe I am not using the tool correctly.
