Plane vtol is faulty, can you help me analyze the reason?
CUAVv5 flight controller, 4.3 fixed-wing firmware, took off to 25 meters in guided mode, reached 45 meters after switching to fixed-wing, then started to fall high and hit a tree. The log is below and no other errors were reported.
At the completion of the transition, since TECS.hdem was still lower than the actual altitude, the FC lowered the altitude of the aircraft. It appears that the aircraft hit a tree just as it was about to start gaining altitude.
You should use VTOL_TAKEOFF in Auto mode for takeoff so that TECS.hdem would be tracked to the current altitude at the start of the transition, and such an accident like this should not happen.
