I have had success with the cheap $15 pix power modules on ebay, though a brand name one from 3dx etc would probably be better.
Theres nothing wrong with the holybro pixhawk 4 for a fixed wing, its a good FC, just the pmo7 is chunky and not documented or labelled well for fixed wing application.
