Pixhawk wont boot up when lidar 360 is connected

i am using the rplidar a2 and connect it to a pixhawk 1 2.4.8 module, i connected the pins to the right ones in the ardupilot rplidar page and it does work. But if i keep the lidar connected the pixhawk wont boot up, it gets power but wont boot up. but it does boot up if the lidar is disconnected, is this a power problem?

I would say so. Documentation say to power Lidar from an external source…

like through a raspberry pi 4? and just connect the raspberry pi to pixhawk in the telem1 port

Like using an external 5V-3A BEC to power it.
