Pixhawk Elevon Setup

Hi,

I’m planning to configure elevon mixing on my pixhawk running the plane 3.8 firmware I’ve found the section in the documentation that talks through the process:

When switching to manual mode will the pixhawk still apply the elevon mixing? Or does the transmitter have to be setup to provide the elevon mixing? if the transmitter is set for elevon mixing how will that work when the pixhawk uses it’s elevon mixing?

I also having problems setting my Elevons using firmware 3.8.
