Today I powered on my rover, but the pixhawk refused to fully boot. The main LED stayed dark and no connection with Missionplanner was possible. The pixhawks com port showed up in device manager for a few seconds and then disappeared. After removing the sd card, the com port did not disappear again, but the main LED stayed dark. I tried to reflash ardurover 3.4.2 and accidently hit “OK” at the load chibios prompt. The upload went fine and the pixhawk bootet without an issue.
I then tried to load nuttx ardurover 3.4.2 again and the upload worked, but the pixhawk was not booting again (main LED dark). I then tried Arducopter and Arduplane with nuttx and the pixhawk bootet no problem. I thought I did something wrong, uploaded nuttx ardurover 3.4.2 again and the main LED stayed dark…
I then hit ctrl-q to upload the dev build of ardurover nuttx and the pixhawk is booting just fine. I have absolutly no idea how this is possible. The pixhawk worked with ardurover 3.4.2 since it was released.
